Alrighty, I've been writing up some notes about an over arching plot for the board. So far I've just taken some notes on some of the main characters, based on what we've been doing in our RPs.
Because I'm painfully lazy...
er...
I mean, I value your opinion...
I want to know what you guys would like to play? You guys are the reason... I made this board... and I'm not one for being completely in charge of RP plots, so I figure I'd open it up.
Remember, this is going to be the 'board plot'. So it needs to be broad and encompass all the characters I've taken notes on, as well as made ups and the rest of the canon-verse.
My Notes:
Elizabeth trying to get rid of her titles as Pirate King and Pirate Lord, very early in her pregnancy. Her goal is Shipwreck Cove, with a stop at Singapore slated by her navigator. Barbossa, Captain of the newly remodeled Black Pearl, is that guide. He is as ruthless as always, yet Elizabeth softens him. He respects her title, and her position in wanting to be rid of it, and agrees to assist her. This is before he sets off on his search for Jack Sparrow and his map to the Fountain of Youth.
Davy Jones died at sea. William Turner, the new Captain of the Flying Dutchman, was charged with ferrying the tortured man’s soul to the after life. Calypso, betrayed and enraged by the revelation of Jones’ betrayal, while at the same time shattered by his death, interferes. Davy Jones cannot pass on. He is trapped in a curse far worse than what the crew of the Black Pearl was subjected to. Davy now serves on Will’s crew, as helmsman. Or... maybe he's just on the crew because Will took pity on him. Either way, he's human.
Will needs to be able to leave the Dutchman. I'm thinking tying in the Aztec Curse with the binding laws of the Dutchman might lead to something agonizingly awesome. And it can give leeway to Will. Also, Davy in his human form and his relationship with Calypso could help with this issue.
Jack Sparrow is on his own quest for the fountain of youth, as well as making efforts to reclaim the Pearl.
Isla De Muerta was said to have returned to the sea. And so it had, for a very short amount of time. Norrington had secured for himself the most valuable of the treasures hidden in this mystic island. Surviving his stay on the Flying Dutchman, Norrington has since joined Barbossa’s crew on their journey to help Elizabeth. He buried the treasure some place else...
Maybe some pirates, as they are wont to do, dig it up and even MORE chaos breaks out. Cursed pirates again? Don't worry. It'll be more than that. I think I just need to talk it out.
I'm thinking of using Isla De Muerta, too. For something.
Blargh. I've got nothing. Well. That's not true. I've got lots. I just need help to make it cohesive and generally awesome.
