Looking to climb through the ranks of this here RP vessel? Want some notoriety, to distinguish yourself from the masses? Becoming a Moderator might be the way to do it!
What I'm looking for:
Active, friendly members. Not only do you post in the OoC boards, but you are actively participating in the roleplays.
You can tolerate the cutting wit and short temper of your friendly, neighborhood Admin.
Good with coding or photoshop. This isn't a requirement, per se, but if you would like a job as a skin maker or want to help me improve the site, these qualifications would... help.
Moderating Jobs: (Perhaps not the official titles.)
Patrol the RP boards - Your job will be to make sure nothing inappropriate is going on in the RPs around here. If someone is breaking a rule, such as going beyond an acceptable 'maturity' rating, god moding, power playing, or generally being a jerk (unless it's me, or they have permission from the person they are RPing with) it will be your job to sort the mess out. Of course, I'll be here to assist should matters get out of control.
Spam Filter - You'll be in charge of the OoC forums, and will make sure that people aren't spamming the forums up just to bolster their post counts. You will also keep an eye out for anything inappropriate, particularly links.
Idiot Bouncer - You will help me accept and deny applications. This is an honored post, and not one I'll be handing out randomly.
Layout - You're going to help me come up with new boards to keep this place fresh and entertaining. A big responsibility, off the bat, will be to help me redesign and expand the Roleplay section.
Earning a Promotion:
How do you get one of these incredible duties, you ask? Simple. Do things that make Wicked happy.
Be active.
Create interesting and fun RPs.
and perhaps the best way of all -
Advertise.
Think of it as a referral contest. Make sure the people you bring to this site know to give you credit. If they are accepted, then you will receive credit for the referral. It will be up to you to find members who are active and intelligent. Do me proud!
I'll add to this when I think of... more. Haha.
