Name: Gwen Das
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Allegiance: Pirate
Occupation: Gwen was introduced to piracy at an early age, and so she has had years of practice. Though she isn’t high ranked, she is treated and though highly of. She is in charge of the crew at times, and is strangely considered a bit more, ‘well informed’.
Weapon of Choice: Her fathers Naval Cutlass. A well made silver sword. Her father gave it to her before he set out to sea, only to be claimed by the oceanic waves. She treasures it highly among things.
Home Town/Island: Port Royale
Ship: Black Pearl
Appearance: Gwen is an attractive person at least. She is slender, yet well toned. Her skin is not tanned as mot from the beating sun, but lightly kissed. Her most exciting feature is her red locks. Most of the time, pulled back in a pony tail, or occasionally littering her shoulders. Her eyes are bright, and full of life, and though she has seen most terrible things, at times her eyes show her every emotion. They are alamond shaped, and a most enticing emerald green.
Gwen comes to about 5’5, not relatively short, nor tall, but perfect in her own way. Her arms are strong from hard days of work or swimming. Her smile bright enough to light up the ocean. Not much else can be said about Gwen das, though I’m sure she could go on for hours about another person.
Personality: Gwen is kind, but harsh. She is known for her hot temper, and most intimidating blade skills. She is witty, and can at times even out sly even the trickiest of all pirates. She has quite a way with words, and unlike most pirates, well-educated.
Though she is tough, she still has the feminine side intact, and even shows it on occasion. She loves to read, and hide out around barrels or crates, reading of writing in her diary. She has always dreamed of sailing, and takes every moment in, bursting out to write it down and read later. Another subject that interests her is drawing. Though many could do better, she enjoys it most.
Out of all, she is a person that’s easy to be around. Quiet, but well spoken. Though she is a girl, she can be quite the brute. She lets it be known, and is annoyed when the ‘she’s a girl’ phrase comes into play.
History: Little Gwen das, the Admirals daughter. Admiral Das was well known, and sophisticated. The same can not be said for his wife, who died during child birth. Luckily, he had Gwen. He took her nearly everywhere. On long voyages, or to arrest pirates, and though he tried earnestly to teach her that pirates were filthy thieves, she insisted to be one. Sneaking in the dungeon to cop a conversation from one, or hike the port round to sneak onto a pirate ship.
Her father was the world to her, and grew up being quite the tomboy. She was always scraping up trouble in one way or the other. She also engaged in blade at an early age. Her father finally gave in as she begged him, and he taught her all eh knew.
Finally, a time came, when her father decided she was to become a ‘proper young lady’. With a heavy heart he sent her away. He himself leaving on a voyage. Gwen wasn’t gone long before she received word of her fathers death. That very day, she swore to become the fiercest pirate in the seven seas. She took her father cutlass, coat and belonging, jumping onto the nearest ship. The Black Pearl. She fit right into the crew, and luckily the Captain never even noticed, until Gibbs figured out. With a long discussion, they agreed she stayed.
Other:Tehe, forgot this was here. Hm, she is regularly seen near the forecastle, doing one annoying thing or another.
Roleplay Sample:
This is from a roleplay a while back.
The suns slowly setting orange lights were astonishing. But even more so, was the bright green light that flashed just after dusk. But, it was only a few moments away. The waves crashing, yearning to touch the land, then drawing back, reciprocating back and fourth. Its salty blue waters cold to the touch, yet warm enough to melt a pirates heart. The fish below the surface relished in its capsizing water, the boats a top marveled at its power.
Yet so many misjudged it. Took advantage at its beauty, power and anger. The sea. Will Turner was the sea. Every moment of it. Every second, every last bit of life in him. To his brown eyes, to his scarred chest. Though he loved the sea, there was something else he loved more. Something that owned his heart since she first laid eyes on him.
Elizabeth Turner. His heart and soul, his beloved wife. His eyes burst with joy as the green light flashed in front of him, the Dutchman exploding into the world, rushing from the capsizing waves. He held the helm tightly, turning starboard towards Port Royale. “Easy now,” he said, turning sharply.
The boat moaned under pressure, flicking his eyes Will felt every pin drop in the boat. He was part of the boat. Part of the boat, Part of the crew. He smiled, watching as the small port wheeled into view. Unknown to him, but standing on the docks he could see a woman. He felt the waves crash down, sending his heart fluttering.
Slowly anchoring, the boat stopped. The crew yelled and whooped, jumping off the deck and into the water. Will, slowly climbed down into a small row boat, and with every stride, he came closer to the woman, until he realized it was Elizabeth. He could see her gorgeous features, and longed for her.
Stopping, he climbed to the deck, standing before her, his smile apparent. “Elizabeth,” he whispered, so quiet he couldn’t even hear it. But she knew what he was thinking, because they were together, and so close not even the ocean could part them.
I would like to say, this character Is based off of yours truly. Every last strand, except for appearance. Yes, I’m quite the tomboy. Three brothers and a father in the military.
